Description: Dungeons and Dragons Club will teach you the game, provide for you to play it, and ask you to think deeply about what makes the playing worthwhile. We have Players’ Handbooks and Monster Manuals from both modern editions (5e and 5.5), dice, dry erase markers and maps, and some miniatures available for club use. You are welcome to bring your own resources within reason (such as a campaign book or your own dice), though you will be responsible for them. No experience with D&D is necessary to join. Students will DM their own games in small groups. The first 5-10 minutes of club meetings are dedicated to video tutorials (though you will also learn much from each other) or discussions on a prompt, and the last 10 minutes are dedicated to resetting the club room, visiting lockers, and escorting students to the Great Room for dismissal. All meetings will take place in room 324, and your character sheets may be kept in the club cupboard. The club advisor will continue to be Hinkel, the math teacher.
