Why I Choose to Work at Nova

I was ready for a change; I had been teaching at the college level for 13 years, but I was ready to move on. I moved from St. Peter three years ago with my family.

Family

I have my English teaching husband, Aaron and three children: Zoe, Sebastian, and Ani.

Hobbies/Interests

Camp with my family, kayak, swim, play tennis, read, make art, travel.

Favorite Author/Thinker/Historical Figure

I read all books; I don’t think I have a favorite author. Gabriel Garcia Marquez is lovely as well as our own Louise Erdrich. As for artists, I enjoy post-modern makers—contemporary artists that are really stretching contemporary practice.

I love the work of Petah Coyne and Eva Hesse.
