Parent Education
One way for parents to be supportive of Nova's work is by building a home-life which supports the values of hard work and scholarship. To that end, Nova hosts periodic Parent Education Nights, sponsored by the Nova PTO. These evenings are designed thematically around topics of interest to families.

The following Parent Education Nights are scheduled so far for 2009-10:

• October 13, 2009. Topic: Singapore Math
• November 10, 2009: Topic: Classical Education
• January 12, 2010. Topic: First Response/Safety
• March 25, 2010. Topic: Children and Anxiety
• April 13, 2010: Funding for Public Education in MN. Two times: 9.30 am-LS; 6.30 pm-US
• May 11, 2010. Topic: Grade 6 Orientation
• May 25, 2010. Topic: Health Education at Nova (pdf)

Community Education
One comment we hear at Nova regularly from parents is "this is the kind of education I wish I had been given." In that spirit, Nova Classical Academy is pleased to offer Community Education Nights designed to introduce works and ideas from antiquity to our parents and to the larger community.

The following Community Education Nights are scheduled so far for 2009-10:

• December 9, 2009. Topic: The Object of Liberal Arts Education
• February 9, 2010. Topic: Classical Argument and the Stases
