Sponsor-a-Student at Nova
Around the start of the Thanksgiving holiday season, we will ask our friends and extended family to help sponsor a Nova student. This coming week each family will receive a packet of five Sponsor-a-Student letters explaining the program, five stamped envelopes, and five pledge forms to be given by current Nova families to the people they love who are thankful for excellence and innovation in public education and would like to sponsor a student at Nova.
When you receive the packet, please send them out to five people outside of your household. Last year, which was the inaugural year of Sponsor-a-Student, we raised nearly $10,000 from family and friend partners around the country. We saw an amazing commitment and high-level of support from grandparents who used Sponsor-a- Student as holiday gifts or aunts, uncles, and friends who wished they had a public, classical school option like Nova available for their children.
We are thankful for our school and the educational foundation we give our students, and we hope to take the message of classical education to the rest of the state and to the nation. Sponsor-a-Student is one way we can get out this message to the wider community while bringing home the critical financial support we need to help keep Nova a thriving school for years to come.
