Nova Classical Academy is currently a K–11 school. The Lower Campus, at 1668 Montreal Avenue, St. Paul, houses grades K–5, and the Upper Campus, at 426 Osceola Avenue, St. Paul, houses grades 6–11. We are excited to announce that we are adding grade 12 in the fall of 2012 and plan to move into a new K–12 facility next fall.

Applying

Applying for grades K–12 is the first step in the enrollment process. All on-time applications will be included in our lottery for open spots for the 2012–2013 school year.

  • November 1, 2011—Applications available on the web and at the school.
  • February 24, 2012—Application deadline by 4 PM in the school offices.
Applications are accepted and considered on-time between November 1, 2011 and February 24, 2012 at 4 PM; it does not matter when in that time period the application is received. The lottery is conducted within two weeks following the on-time application deadline. Families are notified by mail by mid-March if they are offered a spot or placed on the lottery waiting list. Applications received after the February 24, 2012 deadline will be placed at the end of the lottery list for that grade in the order in which they are received.

Lower Campus Tours

Lower Campus School Day Tours will be provided beginning in mid-March for parents whose children have been offered a place at Nova in Kindergarten through grade 5 for 2012–13, as well as to the first five applicants on the waiting list following the enrollment lottery in early March 2012.  Prospective parents participate in a staff/parent-led information session and tour that concludes with a 15-minute classroom observation. Lower Campus tours will be offered on Wednesday mornings from 9:15–10:15 a.m.

Upper Campus Shadow Days/Tours

Student Shadow Days will be offered to prospective students for grades 6–12 during Enrollment Season through May 2012. Shadow Days will take place on most Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students will be hosted by a current Nova student (8:30 a.m.–3:50 p.m.) and will experience the classroom and life at Nova firsthand. Shadow Days will be hosted on the following days:

Thursday, February 23 Thursday, May 3
Tuesday, March 20 Tuesday, May 8
Thursday, March 22 Thursday, May 10
Thursday, April 5 Tuesday, May 15
