Nova Achievments
Ancient Greeks introduced the first Olympics games nearly 3,000 years ago to promote excellence and the spirit of competition. Homer himself wrote, “he who hates excellence hates the gods.” Nova students learn for the sake of knowledge, but they also perform well when tested against their peers. Below is a brief summary of some our students’ achievements.
MCA (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment)
Nova is a public school, and takes the MN standardized tests along with all public schools each spring. Below is a record of how Nova’s students have performed on these tests.

ERB
Twice per year Nova students in grades 2−8 take the ERBs, a nationally-normed test which is favored by suburban and private schools around the country. We analyze this data to measure individual student growth and begin to target areas where to focus learning goals for students.
