Why I choose to work at Nova
I work at Nova because I want to change the world. I believe that the way we teach at Nova will have a substantial, positive influence on the community. I see Nova as a potential leader in American educational practice.
Hobbies/Interests
Besides teaching at Nova, I am the Director of Curriculum for the Oakeshott Institute, a non-profit museum that teaches about swords and armor. I am also a fencing coach. My hobbies are: painting, swimming, bicycling, an archaic form of fencing called singlestick, reading, and growing bonsai trees.
Family
I live in a pile of books in south Minneapolis, with my wife, my daughter, and two large, drooling dogs.
