Why I choose to work at Nova
It’s the freedom to pursue a dream. Education’s time is clearly now. I love being part of a grass roots classical school model hinged on the virtues of truth, beauty, and goodness. Not only that, but I am privileged to learn something new every single day, play, sing, gently nudge and let go, so that my students are free to enjoy the same. How great is that?
Hobbies/Interests
Conversing with good friends anywhere…Curling up with a good book and my daughter’s, left-at-home-cat, Bo Jingles…Being still-listening to beautiful music and a whisper…Sharing a single dessert with my husband… Sister play dates…Chatting freely with plants, baby animals, and young children…Hiking the North Shore.
Family
Allan and I celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary this summer. We remembered our day after reading the date in the daily newspaper. We both had a good laugh over our coinciding senior moment. We have two grown, above average children, Christopher and Erica, one talented daughter-in-law, Jamie, and two wonderful grandsons, Lukas and Zackary.
